The meander (also known as the Greek Key or Greek Fret) motif gained its name from the river Meander, a river of many twists and turns.  The Meander river served as a backdrop for some of the action in Homer's Illiad.  Drapery Connection interior designer, Susette Kubiak designed this Hobbled Roman Shade and adjoining draperies with a Greek Key banding.  The banding adds a disctinctive detail to a classic design.
