Interior Designer Crush: Julie Goad of Epiphany Design Studio | Drapery Connection
Alex Hendrickson
Julie Goad spent her childhood in Europe before moving to Nashville when she was 12. Her mother, who worked as a seamstress, had a love of interior design, and together, they quilted, sewed, made draperies, stripped and painted furniture, and hunted for finds in junk stores in Franklin. At a young age, her mother told Julie she knew she would study interior design. “I received a B.S. in interior design and never looked back,” Julie tells us. These days, Julie still lives in Nashville, but instead of quilting and junking, she runs Epiphany Design Studio, a full-service firm and a 3,000-square-foot showroom on Eighth Avenue. Whether you are taking on a home renovation or simply looking for a stunning piece of furniture, Julie is your gal. Known for her impeccable style and eye for finds, she’s an interior designer worthy of a crush. That is why today, we introduce her as our latest Interior Designer Crush!
